This is the version that set off the wave: three friends in loungewear on a green court, a basketball hoop overhead and a pink sunset behind the trees. The camera sits low and still, so every step of the routine reads clearly, from the opening sway to the moment the middle dancer runs up to the lens laughing. It is the safest pick if you want the clip people recognise.
Tips for the sunset court
Comfy clothes suit it: the original trio danced in sweatshirts and joggers, and what you wear in the photo is what you dance in.
A full-length photo helps here, because the low camera shows the dancers from head to bare feet.
Pick your most expressive friend for the left or right spot: everyone takes a turn at the front.
What is already set for you
The subject: you in the middle of the trio, with up to two friends beside you, in the clothes from your photos.
The scene: a green outdoor court with a basketball hoop, tall trees and a pink and orange sunset sky.
The timing: Every dance runs the same five beats: line-up sway, arm snaps, spin and drop, place swaps, and a run at the camera.
White Studio: a bright white room with wood floors and studio lights
Bright Hallway: a sunny hallway at home, the trio coming straight at the camera
Living Room Glow: a cosy living room at night, warm lamp light behind the trio
Night Street: out on the pavement at night, under the street lights
Sunny Park: a stone path in the park on a bright blue-sky day
